We’re looking for engaging and innovative makers from the fields of science, art, technology, sustainability, food, music, crafts, and fashion to bring their skills to the festival. What truly makes this event unique is the opportunity for festival-goers to experience a first hand demonstration of each maker’s craft. Please note that providing a demonstration is mandatory for participation in the festival. Here are the criteria we consider:
- Hands On: Will attendees have the opportunity to interact with your activity?
- Uniqueness: Do you have an approach or style to your craft that makes it uniquely you?
- Balance: We try to ensure that the event represents a broad range of makers
- Presence: How are you envisioning your demo to “pull” people in?
- Fun!: Are folks going to leave your demo happy and inspired to make themselves?
